• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

The AMAZING Paul Jarvis

Here is a nice picture of Paul Jarvis taken by Edmund Davidson
at the recent 2010 NY ECCKS, and a shot he also took of one of Paul's amazing blades...

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

Murray I bumped the thread, and those seem more arabic than japanese to me.

Those characters are Bonji characters and are really Japanese. As the original owner of this knife I can vouch for that.

Nice pic of Paul (as always the same cap:thumbup:) and that blade is really something else. For a man who had no formal training in this (he is completely self-taught) he is doing alright (understatement of the year).

Always a PLEASURE to see Paul and his amazing work. One of my favorites is "Genghis Khan" depicted on pg. 139 of DDD's "Great Collections".

I'm hoping he will be at the NCCA show 3/28 in Marlboro, MA.
