Yes, they are good for the money.I have 2 Victorinox pairing knives of similar construction, though fine-edged, and I like them both very much- especially for the money. I’m also temped by the Opinel paring knives, though I have yet to acquire some.

They’re incredibly rust resistant aren’t they?My wife and I were in the Grand Prairie Knives store about 12 years ago. I bought other knives but she picked this one up for herself. It's been a great knife and it's still going strong. I don't remember how much it cost but it certainly was a good value.

Have you tried that folding version with the liner lock? I have one. A little lock sticky but a neat concept. $17.I pieced together a complete set of Victorinox kitchen knives after years of using crap and it is so much nicer. I don’t care what the Vic paring knife costs, it is 10x more useful than my CRK.
