The amazing value in Victorinox knives

I keep a Victorinox chefs knife on my kitchen magnet bar. It's pretty old but works great as a stiff, large blade. They are well worth the low cost.

The famous American knife company Dexter Russel makes commercial knives that are relatively inexpensive and have indestructible handles. They are called SaniSafe knives. Meaning they can be sanitized. Nice to be able to run them through the dishwasher without worrying.

I bought a dozen of the rope knives to use as disposable knives and have not been able to kill the first one. The butcher knife and skinning knives are ready for deer season. I have their fillet knives and a scimitar. I even bought a bucket of pairing knives. No complaints about any of them.

The rope/net knives and pairing knives can be bought for less than $10 each. They even have about a dozen kinds of oyster knives.

If it wasn’t serrated, I’d probably carry one in my pocket lol its that good. I like it more than opinel.

So I bought these knives about a year ago and these 4” bad boys do everything I need, and all these were $18!! Can you believe it?!

Anyway, what do you all think? I really enjoy the economic knives of Victorinox over any of the high dollar BS. I use these every day.

I have the same set for 5 years now. They are one of my favorite. I have z-cuts too, not as useful and ergonomic.
