AMS is a nice little edc, congrats!
The big finish is a polished finish the double cut has been media blasted and has a hazy satin appearance. (It is also non reflective).
Double cut
Big finish
Uhoh,

there is a disturbance in the force that is HOG Fu info which must be remedied so piglets do not get confused.

Double cut or DCBB is a very gray, non reflective matte finish, not satin at all as the muskrat picture shows. That numbered HOG Muk LE from 2011 with the smooth ricasso was only offered in "hand applied" Satin (commonly just called satin), which is much smoother and higher finished than Busse Industrial Grade (new finish recently offered in the past year to replace the no longer offered Competition Finish

) which has a much coarser crosshatching on the ricasso/handle areas. Sometimes satin has very fine markings in it from a worn out belt that causes it to reflect like that with just the perfectly captured reflective angle. All three of my Muk LE's did, but my fourth, a separately made wedding muk did not.
BIG finish, look at ricasso/talon hole & butt, basically the flat area for the handles has several steps skipped to save time/cost. You can almost file your nails with the crosshatching. Also, the blade itself is not nearly as reflective due to being much less polished than satin.
You can faintly see the marks from the sanding belt in the first two shots of this satin HOG Muk LE.
It disappears in the third.
Another muk LE
The best shot I have showing the sanding marks is from the third LE.
The wedding muk.
Mission accomplished.
