Small and tough just like it’s armored namesake, this is a new design I’m calling the Armadillo! It’s mad from 1/4in 5160 with a blued finish. The scales are black G10 with stainless steel flared tube fasteners. The scales are also given a bit of traction with some random Dremel grooves. Feels like a gentle tree bark 😁 Overall it is 10 3/8in with a 5 5/8in blade tip to handle. Weight is 12oz. The sheath is black Boltaron with a reversible belt loop. Price is $350***sold*** shipped in the US.

Agreed! I like everything about this knife—the blade profile, the blued finish, the handle shape—and I love the jigged G10! Hope we see more of that! Nice score, luethge!

If I’ve managed to actually name a design, chances are good for more 👍😁 I really like this one myself. Mostly I love my huge choppers but this one pleases me as a belt knife. It’s a very handy sized tool and still plenty tough!

I just now saw this. What a great looking knife. I love the shape, and the scale ‘traction’ looks awesome. Truly great.

Just seeing this. Excellent design Bill! The all black look is cool, and those Dremel grooves on the scales are terrific! Nice!!

Yuuuup. It’s nice. The handle profile gives me Carothers FK2 vibes. Love the thick stock though on a knife this size. Bill what’s the chances of another one with maybe a hollow grind?

I doubt I’ll do one of these with a hollow grind. I’m not a fan of hollow grinds on knives I’d describe as tough.
