The ASH 2 Is "LIVE" ! ! ! ! !

Muddy and tan for me. Really tempting to double fist this one but I figure I better hold some funds for next wednesday too.
 
I want one, hope these are available for awhile. I don't want to sell my TGLB so hope to get one next year by saving up. I could put some non Busse on the chopping block.
 
The ASH handle is my favorite handle, so I'm really tempted by this one. That said, I already have an ASH-1 (6.5"), SFNO (7"), NMSFNO (8"), and ASHBM (11"). The ASHBM is a pure chopper, the ASH-1 and SFNO are easy-to-handle cutters and slicers, and the NMSFNO is a fantastic 'do-everything knife' -- you can chop with it, clear branches, and prepare and eat a meal with it.

Would you put the ASH-2 with it's 9" blade in the same 'do-all' category as the NMSFNO or will it be more of a chopper? I know I won't be able to resist the darn thing, but was just wondering how all of you will use the ASH-2. To "beat on things" is, of course, an acceptable answer.

Im gona pair it up with a Folder, or BG AD or other smaller Busse,
but im sure if ASH-2 was all I had on me, it would do it all, all by it self.

This might end up being my first candidate for a Black / Bruiser combo.... Lest I stick with my Sage / Red-black trend... Killer looking knife, even though I don't fully understand the pros/cons between different blade thicknesses and the like, but it should be a good companion for my battle saw!
 
Black on black g10. My first knife since the DSSF several years ago. I'm excited!
 
I'm letting her go... Got 8 or 9 knives in this size range already and who knows what Jerry is gonna do next!!!! ;)

Just ordered mine a little while ago. Black with Black/Red G10. Had a hard time deciding on the color combo I wanted. I want them ALL! But could only afford one. Now the wait begins! "Two Weeks", right???:D

There isn't one, really. Based on my experience, I'd generally expect somewhere in the neighborhood of 8-12 weeks for delivery, but since Busse and kin started offering something new every Wednesday, it's hard to tell what that experience is worth.

Nice....I almost went with that combo, but decided to stick with Sage with Red/Black G10. I have a bunch of other knives in black from the Yard and Swamp, so I like the Sage with the Busses.....looks so good with the Red/Black G10. I almost sprang for a second with the Black blade (got two ASH-1s), but I gotta be ready for what's coming down the pike. :D
