  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

The "Ask Nathan a Question" Thread

Nathan the Machinist Nathan the Machinist What would it take to convince you that a full billet skinner is not only an incredible idea, but a first for a maker?

Let me elaborate: your skinner design, but without scales. Full Metal Skinner. How hygienic? How supple? How magnificent?

What would it take to convince you that this is a worthy endeavor?

I have some thick drops of V4E and 4V left over from the comp chipper builds that I've kept just for that.

Nathan, tell us a bit more if you will about Ben's addition to the CPK's manufacturing and production team and where his talents/knowledge/skills fit in the process. If sexy legs and short-shorts were the merits, he'd be beating you to the CEO job already (sorry, you're not physically that imposing but that's a joke for another day 🤣). IIRC, back in the day Bennieboo was just one of the forumites like the rest of us schleps but he picked up Bladesport and took off like a rocket! Was Bennie previously involved the knife industry or was he just an enthusiast with great potential and talent for learning?
