Pretty much why all the city hipsters flock to the tool. :D

I believe that's called a solution in search of a problem. I guess I can't talk, I don't need to chop stuff, but chop stuff I do, even with my double axe which belonged to my wife's grandfather.

That cartoon is pretty classic, goes to the root of consumerism, and folks who occasionally do actually chop stuff. But do you need 5 different choppers to accomplish this use? Probably not, but it is still fun. The cartoon summarizes why I have not purchased what is considered a top end axe. I get by with what I have.

Don't forget the giraffe-liver axe grease and special pants!

wow that actually was pretty meta and i had to do some auto criticing to make sure i wasnt one of them lumberjack wannabees... I do not own a plaited flanel shirt, good, i do own about 10 axes that i occasionaly use but not that often because i live in a suburb with no trees to cut, so i own too many axes for the need i currently have, hum... thats no good :D im afraid to be a hipster, but i do not think i am, for i do not brag about it :D

That hits a bit close to home, but always better than a day at Disneyland.

When I want to wear swingin' pants, I wear my kilt. :D

But one day when the whole civilization crumbles...!

(I could get away mostly with some heavy duty machetes like an e-nep, maybe a nice sized hatchet, but where's the fun in that?!)

Anyway, Benjamin you don't want to antagonize that category of buyers, their money smells just as well (or bad) like others'...:D

Besides, if anyone saves a good pice of steel from being melted, even if it stays pretty om their wall for the next 30 years, it's still a win in my book :).

Hey--there's nothing wrong with it! Let's just be honest with ourselves, right? :D
