So as of late I have had a hankering to get a kukuri. Ended up ordering from Atlanta Cutlery, an Assam Rifle kukuri. Don't even know if the Assam Rifles are real or not but for the bucks, and the reviews posted of the kukuri a cheap way to get into a big chopper. Like everyone says, you gets what you pay for. The blade itself ain't bad but the rest of it sucked. Fit and finish of the "guard" looked like a little kid put it on. Wouldn't stay in the sheath when held up side down it was that loose, and the rest of the kit was seriously lacking. So I figure back it goes. Here in lies my bitch. For some reason I can't get the return shipping label sent to me by Maria there not so competent return specialist. So I will ship it back on my dime and frankly for the total price of shipping it is actually the cost of the kuk.

Now its a principal thing with me. Maria, keeps saying she sent the return shipping label every night at 1700 as per Atlanta Cutlery's terms of service. This has been going on since Tues and haven't seen it yet. So maybe I think to myself she is sending it and I am truly not getting it, so call Time Warner and have one of there service folks help me and as near as they can tell there are no attachments from A.C.'s IP address that are not making it through the queue and nothing they show hanging out there in electron land. I don't know what to make of it but like I said, it is more a matter of principal now with me. I think this might be only the second time I've written anything in the BAD here on the BF's. Helluva way to run a business. I mean loosing a customer over less than 50 bucks just doesn't seem very productive to me. End of rant.:thumbdn:

Sorry to hear you have had a bad experience.
I haven't visited AC in a few years (It's just "up the road" from me), but when I did, the sales staff was very accommodating.
I hope it works out for you in the end.
