The "Bad Economy" Line

John and KYenglish, thank you for the information. I really like that green micarta handle. John I will be contacting you in the near future to place an order for the Semi Wharncliff. I really like your design on this knife as it speaks to me. One again thank you.

Tony

I'll be ordering (do we PM or call or email?) one of of those EDC Kepharts soon - I just can't make up my mind whether to go with the Maple Burl or the Tiger Stripe Maple - is one more durable than the other? (maybe I'll have to order one of each at this bargin rate!) Is Ironwood an optional upgrade?

Email works best for me. Of the two maples, I think the tiger stripe is nicer, but that`s just me. Ironwood is a $25 option on all models except the Hawks, and Knatchets.

I've been arguing with myself over the same handle materials, kind of weird.

The Semi Wharncliff is proving to be pretty popular, got orders for 5 of them!

It's a great design! Look at how popular the wharncliff or sheepsfoot blade is on traditional knives. It's a precision cutter, you can get the point right where you want it without belly hitting first.

KYenglish is correct, the Kephart is yellow G10, and the other two are green canvas micarta.

Why does the picture of the green canvas micarta look more green on the JK website compared to the green micarta shown here?

Probably because I can`t take a picture worth a darn. If you are talking about the green on the Anniversary EDC, I did not take that photo, someone else did. I also offer an aqua micarta, if that`s what you are talking about.

John, I'm going to order one Anniversary EDC (6 1/2" overall with a 3" blade).
I'll send you email with the details.

I think this is a great idea John.

I can tell you that my semi Wharncliff is an amazing little knife. I've been using it for a variety of tasks and I'm really pleased with the comfort and ease of use.

I will be posting a review, with pictures, as soon as I can. Hopefully I can get that done in the next week or two.
