I have returned from my sleepless stupor and I'll take two of these and two of those wonderful Fusion Hearts as well.
 
Well guys, I ordered a Fusion Mistress. They didn't have any we could pick up at the booth *grumble grumble* but I should get one when they start shipping em out to folks. You know, in two weeks.

Bleh. Want now! ;)
 
Zal, same here. Got my order in, really looking forward to that delivery. This fusion Mistress really brings back those "personality traits" from the straight handled days.

Anticipation will start to kill me on Monday :)

Hmmm, I actually don't know. Totally forgot to ask when i went to the booth. I know it's more than the BM-E, but couldn't give you a correct number at the moment.
 
Now that's what I call a chopper.
Looks like I'll have to pick up four of five in various coating combos, that is if they are selling for the 427.00 each.:D
 
If my wife hadn't just paid off all of our credit cards, I would get one...

Go ahead and call the shop and order one. By the time you are actually charged it will be months from now! (at least)
 
Crowinghorse. Congrats on the credit card freedom. I just got there few months before Blade, and I plan on paying off my Blade charges QUICK. The feeling you get after the last payment is worth a million dollars :)
 
The price tag on the new BM was $397.00.

I know this because (1) I have a head for numbers and (2) unlike some of the hogs I was surrounded by, I actually have a limited budget:mad: :rolleyes: :( :p
 
Outstanding. My mistress is finally going to have some competition. What are the specs? (Overall length, blade length, width (edge to spine) and thickness).
 
I ordered the Fusion Battle Mistress as well. All of the new line was just gorgeous but that Battle Mistress just jumped out at you. You are able to get it in black or tan and choice of handle material. I ordered mine tan with the tan & black micarta (seen on the steel heart). I didn't measure the knife but it appears 1/4" thick, slightly longer than the E and slightly wider! VERY IMPRESSIVE KNIFE!!! The only disappointment I had at Blade was NOT BEING ABLE TO LEAVE WITH A NEW BUSSE! Also, the little FAT Pork Belly Active Duty was VERY SWEET!!! What a HUNK of INFI!!! Some lucky Bastid guessed the correct price and is going home with it tomorrow!!! I'm back home in Kentucky now, after two days at the Blade Show and I enjoyed it tremendously. I did pick up my Mammoth Handled 8" Pure Bred Fighter from Kenny Rowe who dressed it up very nicely, with the most perfect fitting beautiful sheath that he has made for me to date! Everyone at the Busse Table seemed to like the knife, as well. I will post photos later, off to sleep after the long drive.
 
$397 sounds about right, but I seem to remember that Jerry said something about sheaths being sold separately in several different models. This would make $427 including sheath sound right. Can anyone confirm?

see, the humps on the new mistress arent for looks or even for mechanical improvements,

its actually a groove master made for reeeeaaaaally big guys. :rolleyes:

I'll be happier when I see a fusion mistress in my home, but for now, this will have to do. :)
 
I'd love to see a comparison pic between it and the BM-E, and perhaps even a SHBM thrown in too.
