It's tough for me to image what a HOFBM is going to feel like. I might get a hernia from picking it from the post office.

We dumped the steroids into the machine when we made this newest version of the world's highest performance blade. No other knife on the planet has been able to duplicate the Battle Mistress's world record setting performance and this is by far, the baddest of all generations. The blade is now 10 inches long and wider than any other Battle Mistress ever made.

The handles are contoured out of micarta that is over 60% thicker than before and is chock full of palm swells and curves. The unique fusion of the straight handle, bird's beak, and ergo designs have yielded a "two position" handle. As you hold it towards the front you'll feel the aggressive non-slip grip pattern of the flying raptor scales. . . in the chopping position, with the handle forward for added leverage, you'll note the smoother, less aggressive grip pattern of the diamond quilted micarta.

The design changes are too numerous to list at this time but a few pics ought to help!

I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really want one... Or three.

Will the Fusion Battle Mistress be offered in both 1/4" & 5/16" thicknesses?

Any idea when? How much?

Thanks

One can only hope there will be a 5/16" FBM. No idea when or how much though.

Me too. I can only imagine how much that beast will weigh. I'll be as big as Swartzeneiger in no time swinging that puppy around. Okay, well, maybe not Swarteneiger, but at least as big as Shanewomer. ;)

Hopefully not too much longer till this beast appears on the Busse Combat site and then in our mailboxes.

I cannot for the life of me decide between the 1/4" or the 5/16" version of the FBM. I can't buy both and can't figure which one I would be happier with. I think I'm leaning more toward's the 5/16". If there's not going to be much weight difference between the two then I'll definitely go with the HOFBM, with MAG handles  . And if Jerry were to make a 3/8" version  .

we have had to order special reinforced, lead shielded boxes to ship

these bad boys in. those weak of heart might think twice about ordering

one of these when they are released.

so winter starts on dec. 21. so the FBM should be here in .... two more years?

and no, it hasn't been released yet.

with how fast (reletively) busse combat is cycling through the line of knives (and they are getting faster compared to the beginning of this ordering set up), they will be to the end of the line before 2 years is out.

chances are the winter (i assume december) date is fairly accurate. i imagine it will be within december-march. i say till march becasuase you never know what will happen, and ya, the 2 weeks remarks could apply.

ooooooooh i am definitely going with the 5/16.... i am hopeing they make em thicker. on the battle mistress i think the weight and abalance will be quite noticably different. with soething like the steel heart or anything smaller, the handle helps to keep the balance from shifting to much, because there is just so much metal in the handle at full thickness. but with the length of the battle mistress, i dont see how they can possible hold the shift completely down.

it will just seem rediculously over built (wich is exactly what i want :D:D:D:D )

It's been a couple of months. Just wanted to throw this back to the top before it drifted to far.
