Hello everyone,
As the weekend comes to a close, I offer up the Barkeep. This knife has been one of my most successful designs over the years. I originally made it for cutting limes and lemons, or anything else that a Bartender might need to cut. The model was a hit and eventually people started using them as cheese slicers and even EDC knives.
The Barkeep is 6 inches long with a 2.5 inch cutting edge. i put a hollow grind on these knives and they are razor sharp. The Barkeep is made from AEB-L steel, although occasionally I might make a batch from a different steel.
I don’t make sheaths for these knives, unless it is requested. They are literally meant to just keep behind the bar when you are entertaining. They tend to be a nice conversation piece as well.
This particular Barkeep is dresses up in Sheepshorn bolsters and Bocote hardwood scales with Red G-10 liners. The Barkeeps run $75 shipped USA. This one is availabl! I just finished it up today!
