I drink coffee throughout the day, but not very quickly, so I only use thermal mugs. Additionally, while those wide based spill resistant styles I used to see all over the place in the 80s are hard to find (because people want a mug that will fit in their car's cup holder), they are quite good in an office. I've got a 20-oz Timolino like this:

I like # 1 cause I like my coffee fresh

#2 if the logo is black it is ok. but ifs its yellow . its a no no.

In print yellow on white cant be seen. take a look below:thumbup:

See what I mean. Its almost invisible

now that color does seem to be more of a golden color so it may be ok.

would be careful with it:thumbup::cool:

# 3 might get cold

I would like # 3 in the 15oz size

Whichever mug is chosen, we will be looking to have a nice contrasting logo put on it... One of the reasons for choosing the mug first.
Also, the difference between 15oz & 18oz is 3 shots... or mebbe 2-3 swallows of coffee. Not a big difference in capacity. :)

The yellow and white would look good with a yellow and black logo which is Busse Colors. Because of my big hand I like 2 and 3 because of handle size. Also with the white background the Busse Logo would show up nice. To print the logo on Black the knife would have to be silver and letters would be silver outline with yellow inset.

I like the Rob Stanley Busse artwork, looks like it will fit on the side of a mug better than the longer logo. But how does this work with copyrights and stuff? Has the Boss given his blessing? What about the artist(s)?

rumblebee, although it might be cool, I see maybe 3_+ different shades of grey, and also white. Each additional color adds to the price per unit, not to mention the fades & blending. I don't believe the detail can be done in quite the same way as silk screening a T-shirt. Also, Jerry would have to approve the artwork since his name is on it. I did look into digital imaging logo mugs, but every site I visited only had one base color for digital image mugs... White.

We're trying to keep it simple to keep the cost down per mug as much as possible, so I believe that we'll stick to a simple logo design and hopefully the "NO REGRETS" on the opposite side. :)

EDIT: Soulrack223, good point, we'd need the artist's permission also.

Quote from Rob below--

Wow! Thanks for all you kind comments! Yikes!

I did this one off my own back to portray Busse Combat like the elite forces around the world such as the SAS, Green Berets, British Ghurkas etc... All of these organisations have their own special insignia, so I thought it fitting that Busse Combat Knife Company have one too!

It's now Jerry's property, so hopefully we'll see it emblazened on various Busse Combat paraphenalia.

There ya go!!!

I hear ya, Jaxx! :D But, I would love to see that design on Busse stuff....And remember, Rob had the reverse\single color design...May work better, but still $$$

I just took a look, and as a single color black on white, I don't really dig it... Too much detail lost. Reversed it to white on black, that's better... But what caught my eye is the pin with the nuke symbol over the crossed knives, up on the beret. Possible idea for a future mug run & simple enough... Maybe with "INFI" on the opposite side.

I'm a coffee and tea drinker and I'm very picky about mugs. I like the grip to be just right and the size is most important. Too small and it's just a teaser, but go too big and my drink is cold before I finish it! 15oz sounds perfect to me and the round grip looks nice to boot.

+1 on the BIG thermal mug. 20 oz of hot coffee. Here's another style:
