• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

I had noticed a German auto grave yard several times on the way home and finally saw that it was open. I ended up getting a coil spring from a BMW and this is the results. 5 1/2" blade and 10 1/2" overall. Sambar stag and wrought iron fittings.

I was thinking that that finish was just with your shear steel
but see it's not .. nice work:thumbup:

Very nice flow on those lines, amigo!! But I gotta request a close-up shot of the blade texture. Dan wasn't the only one that thought "shear steel maybe?" when viewing that knife. ;)

Greg, Its not shear steel. Its a patina that I did. The shear steel is pretty much a thing of the past. I've got a couple small pieces of it left.

Ray I think there is a Yugo wrecking yard close to you.

Bruce, I hate to say it but the last car my dad had before he passed away was a Yugo. To bad that I traded it in. I was sitting on a goldmine and didn't know it.....:D
