The Becker has landed!

This makes me love the Beckerhead community. Congratz on your new novel.....er, BK7. I'm intrigued that you would hop on public transpo with the 7.....just to get to the woods/swamp. I'm glad you did, it's just....amusing to think about, I guess. Makes me feel lucky to be able to walk out my back door and hack away in the woods/swamp right behind my house.
Thanks for the most excellent pics!

The 7 is always a great way to start. There will be others...you have been warned!

I thought your full name was Stabman Stabalicious McStabtown? Plus, you didn't stab anything. Why the no stabby?

I did stab a stump...but that picture looked like every other stump stabbing picture on the internet. :D

Very nice!

Thanks. :)

Very nice but...needs a 9...

I feel the urge building already...

Some weird guy at a Tim Horton's last week said he wanted to buy a walking stick like the one I was carrying.
Said he'd buy one for $50...
I doubt he'll remember about it (he seemed pretty drugged up and odd), but it made a great excuse to make another walking stick! :)

So, on Friday I went out with the BK7 and made this:

All work up to this point done with the BK7. It has to dry out a bit, and will end up shorter, but it works.

Even after wiping down the blade, sap and stuff stuck to it:

Hot water and soap got that off though.

But yes, the BK7 works.

I like making walking sticks too, nice

It's quite fun to do, and ends up with a useful end product. :)
They make great gifts too...haven't met too many folks who mind having one around, even if they don't use it.

Mmmm the bk 7 to me is a great all rounder. Can chop and do more general purppse stuff too. Usuall y pair it with the sixteen to take some of the load off hher
