The best pair of Becker knives possible? I think so

I'm leaning towards the 4 and 5. However, the 20 has been sleeping in the box since the stork brought it. And I don't have a 15 to opine on. Yet.

Though it seems like a simple question to answer - it's actually quite challenging.

Look, we all love the 9; "You can't not have a 9!" However, with a 16, the larger knife can switch to either the 4 or the 20 - both favorites of mine.

My favorite Tweener is the 15 ... big surprise there given my passion for the 5 but let's face facts - the 16 is a very useful shape in a very useful size and, if that weren't enough, one hardly ever sees Ethan's feet off pavement without a 16 on his belt. That speaks volumes right there.

I suppose I used many words to say 16/20.

But I do like the 9, and the 15 ... an 11 is always handy. My favorite camp knife is the 5. The 7 and 10 are very handy. Love the 15. The 17 has it's place. A 14 and /or a 24 are hard to get along without. The 2 is a beast and my go-to beater. I think I've done confused myself.:confused:

That's my combo as well, BK39 and BK16. In my opinion the perfect companions.

Actually, the best pair of Becker knives possible is 2 Cincinatti Machax(es)(en)? (Still haven't found out the plural form of Machax).

A 4 and a 5 are my go to pair. If I can't get it done with those two then I'm the problem.
