Iirc, very many moons ago, Youngs Brewery here in UK used to do a special malt beer called Winter Warmer……….in the very months the white stuff covered outside.!

Edit: just looked it up, they still make it, however limited supplies.

The hot weather has started too early! That’s a special release beer by the most innovative of our local breweries. It’s an apricot peach hazy IPA. Not usually my thing but this one is not too sweet, so very refreshing and balanced Chui and cudgee

I am glad I quit drinking before beer began tasting like fruit.

I second this! (Partly because I’ve been trying to find a copy of Goins recently and the asking prices are astronomical!)
