This is my first knife made on American soil.
The blade is 7-5/8" long and 1/4 thick near the bolster. Made from A2 steel. HT, cryo and tempering by Paul Bos. Satin finish.
Flat ground with false spine edge. Design on both sides is hand drawn and deep etched. There are several pinhole dents\marks left on the blade from etching.
Bolster in nickel-silver, soldered and hand engraved in simple manner. Some selective blueing to make it more contrast.
Handle is Black Walnut, completely saturated with lineseed oil, cured and polished with Carnauba Wax.
The decorative pommel nut is screwed on the tang; hand engraved and blued stainless steel.
Leather sheath is hand fit by size and design and hand sewed. The knife in the sheath looks more ascetic than when taken out. Sheath has right hand belt loop.

What does "KOA" mean?

It was in the maker's gallery for a day or two. I thought it would sell quickly.

That worked out for both knifemaker and now buyer/owner Thor!

That knife and sheath could have been used for the Lord of the Rings movies!

Absolutely stunning--a true work of functional art. I think I actually heard music come up when I found this thread a few minutes ago...

Very neat for the lucky owner but a real shame for those of us poor saps who decided to work late this evening. I always knew having a job was a bad idea. :(

This is truly bizarre. I have never had this problem before.
 
Might be time to utilize the private messaging system. Last time I tried it, it was working again, which is no guarantee of anything...
 
Yes it is. I got few E-mails from this tread from other people with no problems.
Do you have any other E-mail?
