The black remoras: what's the story with those?

No idea man. The one I got is sitting on the shelf, only to be looked at. Like I said, if I had another, then I might attempt to strip and use it (definitely would, it is a very comfortable little knife) but as it stands, I only have the one that Uncle E gave me.
 
Those things are cool. Thanks for the photos and especially the info; I had always thought they were remora-sized.

Nice to see that Bladite has a bunch; my sappers are almost through to his subterranean lair and soon my army of reanimated zombie drones will sweep through all resistance on their inexorable march toward the treasure chamber.
 
The 2nd one down looks to be a good size/ shape for a BK&T pocket folder.

I like the color too.

Mine is a safe queen too, but Kay uses hers. Loves it.
