The Black Shadow

Thanks for all the encouragement!

Oh no!....not another LC:eek::eek::p:D

John I keep tellin ya, the more of'em I make ....the more they want'em! I've got to start on another one this week. They say practice makes perfect......or in my case at least better.....I hope:)

Brent: What steel are you using and what thickness? This last one is just great. Congratulations. This one looks to be a bit longer and skinnier....is it?

John, this one is 154CPM. It's .110 which I've found to be about right. The knife shape is the same...just a couple of small changes that may make it look slimmer. The nail nick is deeper and therefore longer ..the edge is straighter ....not as much belly...and the pivot is in it's original place, off center with no modifications. With those slight changes and the shield being more forward, because it's a shadow, it just looks sleeker!

I got a chance to handle one of Brent's LCs that was up for sale by a seller at the Blade Show and I was very impressed! Great pattern and size that is very comfy in the hand. This one looks very good!:thumbup:

that is simply beautiful, a real masterpiece! makes my heart hurt just to look at.

Boy that baby is a beauty, Brent!
Nicely scaled grinds, and blade-to-handle. Projects the essence of LC!!

Brent,it is real nice & I am posting here in your torture chamber ;)
