hmmm this thread sure touched a lot of hot buttons, didn't it?! Of all my blades, I'd want to keep my Greco X-Plorer. The more I use it, the more I realize its versatility! Of course, it'd be hard to EDC a knife with an OAL of 15"! Ah well, hafta go pick out a new EDC folder, then...

This used to be a difficult question for me until I sat down one day organizing my knives and it hit me which one I wouldn't part with.

My Buck model #500. I don't edc it anymore for various reasons, the most important is for sentimental reasons.


That knife was given to me by my Pop when I was still in High School. It traveled around the world with me as an Air Force crewchief on KC-10's.

I have too much history with that knife between using it everywhere and the fact it was a gift from my Pop.
