The Bowies of BladeShow - 2009

Thanks for the pictures Roger. Those are some seriously fine Bowies!

WOW! Awesome pictures Roger, thanks for taking the time to post all of them.

Here's a very amateur picture of one that came home with me ---- El Diablo from Harvey Dean (Best Fighter):

Not hard to see why that won an award - it's gorgeous! The El Diablo is a just a terrific fighter design, and this version - carbon, stag and and some tasteful engraving - is my favourite. Congrats and thanks for sharing the pic.

Roger

Thanks :)

Did anyone get a pic of that Horrigan small Elephant Ivory / Damascus Bowie??? WOW...

That El Diablo is exceptional! Thanks for showing us.

Thanks for the pics. Good seeing you there briefly again. Also I really liked your yellow handled knife-game knife. It fit my hand the best of the three and I wanted it!

Thanks for the pics there Roger, I didn't get to leave my table much at all and really enjoy seeing some of these pieces

All Fantastic

Xaman that is a fantastic piece congrats

Joe, I saw you from a distance more than once and wanted to introduce myself, but you were always in conversation and I was always running in another direction. I really wanted to get a better look at that Bagwell on your left side

Thanks for the compliments everyone about the El Diablo, I'm in awe of how this one handles...

Roger commented on Adam DesRosier's table earlier --- but he had a long slim fighter bowie that didn't make the picture, similar in profile to the Dean, dressed in damascus and blackwood, that also handled like a dream. It would have come home with me if I wans't already spent. I need to find out if it stayed on the table through Sunday...

Two other tables already mentioned, but worth "seconding" were Joe Mandt and Stephen Fowler. Great work, great prices, and seemed to be great guys...
