The Boy’s is back in town!

Rough beginning to a great companionship. Glad to hear the wait is over. Never seen a better image of a pint. Dan deserves a pint or two also. Enjoy in good health Jack. Thanks for sharing.

Chris

Thanks Chris :)

Good job all the way around.

Now if mine would just get here I could see what the fuss is all about with this knife. :)

Glad that the postal service came thru finally. This Traditional site is made up of some of the finest people on earth. I am in awe seems every time I get on here to catch-up on what's going on. Most every time some is doing a great giveaway, or has already gave one away. It just proves Traditional knives have heart.

phew what relief eh Jack-and I only say that because I know the feeling of having to wait semi geological time periods for my knives to turn up in the post.
I'm thinking that your delay may have worked in my favour.
How?
Because while the postage elves were messing around with your knife in transit they missed mine which came through to me from the US in a matter of 10 days.
I'm very happy about that because one of them has mammoth ivory and despite several enquiries to Aust Customs (useless they just don't know their own regs) and much communication between me & the vendor who insured it at his own expense and we bumped up from standard USPS I had an awful feeling that it was going to be seized and cut in half to determine what type of ivory it is and then sent to me in pieces with a bill for the work they did saying its OK to have mammoth ivory.
It appears to have floated through during smoko break .
I have that same rust red huckleberry and mine whilst easy to open is toight.
Toight loik a Toiger.
I can't get my nail into the nick at the rear and I think the nick would be better on the other side.

Glad your knife got through my friend, Aust Customs were probably busy opening one of my parcels and missed it! :D

Great story. :) Congratulations!

Very nice!.... Glad it turned out positive :-)

Thanks guys :)

Thats cool. Both of those knives are very nice. I really like them both as well. When the Jacksonville Jags have their first few home games they play that song in the stadium. "The boys are back in Town!"

There's a local brewery here called Ridgeside, one of their beers is this one:

I had to point out to the outraged young barkeepers in a local hostelry that the pump-clip pictured a badly-drawn Phil Lynott, and was not simply an example of racial stereotyping! :D
