Fat Goat Forge,

I had to add the forge - felt funny calling you fat goat...;)
do you have pics of your mod? I am suddenly very interested.
 
I have used and sharpened mine soo much the past 18 months, the blade is about 25% smaller.

I didn't notice it till I compared it to my safe queen. It has been a reliable knife and a joy to carry.

Mine has a forced patina,and though I prefer the non patina it is still awesome.

Best 100.00 knife on the planet!!

I bought a Umnumzaan and it is a refined GB IMHO. I would rather have 4 GB's than one umnumzaan.. But the umnumzaan is really getting most of my pocket time.

I will take some but I have to find my digital camera. If i cant I'll use the one in my phone. But basically I just used the mini drum sander attachment dremel bit to make a "scooped out" area in the liner and scale. that exposed the hole when the blade was closed and the liner lock when deployed. I have not gotten around to sanding it smooth yet but will make it pretty when I have time. Now its easy to flick the blade out with my thumb and close with one hand.
 
Gayle Bradley is probably my favorite spyderco. Good choice guys
