The Bruce Bump display at OKCA

I talked to Bill last week and he said he couldn't make it. The prize is all yours. Can't wait to check those out up close and personal.

That slippie MAY just bring home the ribbon this year! FANTASTIC!

Wish I could be there. I could spend an hour just looking at Bruce's knives.

Love #23, too, and what about that wrapped San Francisco Bowie? But I think the "Winding Feather" Stag could keep me occupied forever.

I'm not holding my breath on the folder prize, those other boys plop down some nice folders but I'm gonna give it a shot for the sport of it all.

The winding feather bowie is now complete with Jere Davidson engraving. I hope those Oregon judges forgot they gave out the big plaque 2 years running for feather patterned bowies and do it again. That dang Mike Q is gunning for that one this year, I'm starting to sweat already.
 
I love seeing a collection from one maker that spans many years, when it's the right maker. And I can never remember seeing one of yours I didn't like, Bruce. Thanks for showing this off, it's not often we get such a pleasure!

Thanks Bob,
Some of these early knives would get tossed out of the judging rooms by todays standards but at the time they were the very best I could make. Some of the newbies are going to feel good after closely viewing this collection. :D
 
Now that is one sweet looking set of knives. Would have been even better to see them in person.
