The Buck / Hood Punk arrived ---several comparison photos

The Punk arrived a short while ago. I did comparison photos with the Buck / Hood Hoodlum and the Buck / Tops CSAR-T. The fit and finish is typical Buck. The blade was not as sharp as it could have been but that can be taken care of easy enough. The sheath was as expected and is certainly functional. No detailed review as I have not used it yet and I am not a reviewer/writer. My initial impressions are very positive for this knife.

Just got a Hood Punk, really feels good and had a great edge (as expected) out of the box. Also great service from the Hoods Woods team in shipping the knife.
 
boys please post more pics or some sort of (short) review...it's going to be a couple of month till i can get hold of one and to bridge this time frame i really would appreciate more information :)
 
I've asked JW in an email to come back and do a little more commentary on his Punk. By know he should have had a chance to put it through its paces.

I completely agree with this statement!! It fits great! I have actually walked around the house with it in my hand. Feels like it was made especially for me.

I've had mine a couple weeks now, but haven't used it yet.
 
Nice pics, thanks for the side by side comparison!

I have a pair of Hoodlums and like them a lot! The Punk doesn't do a lot for me since there are so many other similar blades in that size out there. Nothing against the Punk, but it doesn't speak to me like the Hoodlum did.
