I heard that was 300 units they moved direct. Maybe DLT and BHQ got the rest but I'm sure there are other dealers that get some if these two got some to sell.Buck website shows, wait for it . . . . . . . "OUT OF STOCK" ! Not sure if this means all 1000 sold, or just what Buck currently had in stock.
Did Uncle Sam buy any of these? I have only heard that BUCK sent some Protos free to the SEALS to play with.As I recall the stories of $600 plus toilet seats, and many other overpriced military replacement parts sold to our government by parts suppliers....
Suddenly a $800 knife makes sense.
A $800 production knife of spearpoint 420HC and G10 that you can leave in the coral reef as an anchor... so, gamechanger. As I recall the stories of $600 plus toilet seats, and many other overpriced military replacement parts sold to our government by parts suppliers....

It’s the Buck equivalent of a Pound Puppy. From now on Buck will be known as a producer of overpriced junk.$800! That is too much for me! It may be a very nice knife but it isn’t worth $800 to me. I hope everyone who bought one is very happy with it.
Looks like another "game changer"!
Personal opinion but I think the green Saugaro Cactus version was more attractive than the all black.
"2020" wow, has it been that long?

Those holes are how the wing is held in place. There is a spring-loaded pin on the wing. It can be inserted in either orientation. Not being a tactical knife guy, do the 2 holes on either side of the wing slot have a function?
I want to see what someone would anchor to a coral reef underwater with a expensive blade that they couldn't just tie up the dry bag directly to the coral with the paracord they would be using in any case without leaving the blade there.I'd love to see someone buy one and actually put it to some hard use.
