The BuckMaster Book : History of the BuckMaster

The book sounds AWESOME! Will have to get a copy.

Are the limited edition hard cover books signed individually by hand?

Thanks,
Peter

Peter, Yes ONLY 184 Hard Cover limited Edition copies exist... All hand signed by 13 people. wow what a chore. It took me over 6 months just to have this one page signed that was bound in this Hard Cover. The people who signed are the heavy Hitters of the BuckMaster Model 185 and 185, The Titanium Model 186, Feildmate model 639 and the Venerable M9 Bayonet.. Here is a picture of the page and who hand signed

Very comprehensive and well written. Love the photos. In fact love the whole book. Along with ALL my Buckmasters.

Michael,
What David is joking around about is the posting of your thread at the end of a thread that is 5 years old. We encourage you to be on the Buck Knife forum and welcome your postings and questions. As Moderator it is my job to set the sails on this boat so we travel in fair winds. Usually, in researching and reading threads several years old the best way to make a comment about them is to start a new thread, say you have read an old thread and wanted to comment, provide a link back to the older thread at the end of your post and then post some statements on how you liked it, how you feel, questions on how a knife is doing being used by others, etc. I tell you this because we sometimes get a short comment by someone reading in the long past that is a thread made up of multiple pages. Many will be able to tell it is old and skip over it and your input is not read. Using the linking technique will let you get read and will generate some comments in return. Some others have brought forward 10 year old threads where people have quit coming to the forum and some have even passed on. Give it a try next time you want to comment on a old thread, and don't give up on the comments or the research.

Ah! An excellent choice to go to;
Seeing that the buck master is rightfully now a near vintage collectable.
And hence probably far older that most currently active forumites
To even identify let alone to have actually seen one in the flesh :-)
Good luck with expanding the collection!

You can get the paperback version at Buck's web site under new items for sale. Or you can get it at the big auction place for almost twice the money.
