Michael,
What David is joking around about is the posting of your thread at the end of a thread that is 5 years old. We encourage you to be on the Buck Knife forum and welcome your postings and questions. As Moderator it is my job to set the sails on this boat so we travel in fair winds. Usually, in researching and reading threads several years old the best way to make a comment about them is to start a new thread, say you have read an old thread and wanted to comment, provide a link back to the older thread at the end of your post and then post some statements on how you liked it, how you feel, questions on how a knife is doing being used by others, etc. I tell you this because we sometimes get a short comment by someone reading in the long past that is a thread made up of multiple pages. Many will be able to tell it is old and skip over it and your input is not read. Using the linking technique will let you get read and will generate some comments in return. Some others have brought forward 10 year old threads where people have quit coming to the forum and some have even passed on. Give it a try next time you want to comment on a old thread, and don't give up on the comments or the research.
