The Bushcraft Karda

what makes a karda a karda?

Long missed question. A karda is the accessory knife in the back of a khukuri. Its just a simple knife with a similar shape to the one I designed. The Himilayans use the karda for everything they don't need the giant knife for. Its just a utility knife really.

 Congrats Cubby! That's a sweet Bushcraft Karda. May it seve you well.

Good luck Cubby, my best wishes for your endeavours and stay safe.

That's an awesome Karda and am sure you'll carry it with pride [emoji106]

I would be curious to see that knife almost 6 years later. Pretty awesome.

So you mean I took years to come to the conclusion this is a fairly complete rig, and you could have told me that 6 years ago? :D

I would also like to hear how that little knife is doing and how he is doing. After I saw this one, and the handiness of a karda as a utility knife, I kind of thought of Iceman's (Otz ?) little knife with a useable handle.

Just in case anyone missed it, Vance woke up a Zombie thread. Cody already served in the Military and he's been working at Fiddleback for 6-8mo now.

I would like to see how that knife held up tho.

I appreciate all the best wishes and support! But as bonafide said, i have already served. I did 3 years in the army as a chinook mechanic. After getting out I dabbled in some odd jobs. One day I was talking with Andy and he offered me a job at Fiddleback Forge! I was super excited to start a new adventure. I have been at Fiddleback back since October 25th, and have loved every late night and early morning. Andy has really helped me get my stuff together.
