The Bushwacker Bowie!!!

Thanks everybody... I really couldn't be happier with this one!
My pics do not do it any justice... Garth really nailed it on this beauty!!!

Nice score. You really had to use some FOO to get that one!

Fixed that for ya. ;)

What a HOG. :thumbup :

Way to go Wayne and Dan.

OINK !!!!!!

Very nice! Do you know what kind of wood that is?

I'm guessing, but it looks like a dyed boxelder burl... I would have to ask Garth to be sure.

Had to come back for another look...Man, she sure is purty!! :thumbup : :thumbup :

I know what you mean bro... I can't put her down. :o

WOW, holly mother....that looks very nice. I do't care what anybody says about Dan, he is a cool guy for helping ya score this, congrats to you and props to Dan.

Nice score, those are some beautiful pictures!

Dan's the Man!!!

That is a beautiful knife! :eek : I was drooling over it at the show. ; )

Sorry you missed out on it...

 ... No wait ... I'm not sorry at all. :D

That is one wicked Bowie! Simply stunning. I love it! :thumbup :

Might just have to add that to the her name.
Wicked BushWacker Bowie... WBWB!!! I like it! :D
Thanks

That is awesome!! :thumbup :
The skull crusher looks nasty :eek : :eek :, very, very nice score :thumbup :

Nice. The long curves top and bottom are very sleek. :thumbup : The pommell is not my style, but works on this knife.

At first I didn't care for it either... but it really does work on this blade. Now... I can't see it with anything butt!!! :D :p

Wow! That one is beautiful! Never really like the BWM that much until I saw that one!

Congratz!

I bet that handles beautifully..... The BWM LE and smooth grips is a marvellous combo .... but that Bowie is simply stunning

I bet it feels marvellous .... although too pretty to use ??? Go on .... give her a work out and make the most of it .....:thumbup::D:D

The burl on that knife is very interesting, I like the green mixed in... Great score and pictures.

Thanks again for all the great comments.

She really is stunning... I haven't been able to put her down. :o :D

That's a nice one. You have one of the best Mistress collections in hogdom.

Thanks! :) I really need to get an updated group shot.

Wayne, that is the second knife you posted in the past couple threads I Want!

 Use?
I just might... ya never know!!! She does feel great!
I was a little surprised that all that's ground off, only lightened her up by 2 oz.
The BWM LE at 23 oz and the WBWB at 21 oz.

The burl on that knife is very interesting, I like the green mixed in... Great score and pictures.

I took some more pics that I'll post in a few... hard to capture the true look of the burl, but this set of pics is a little better.

Wow, I'm totally jealous.
I like it better than the BWM Clip Point.

Buy it from ya? : p

One Millllllllllion dollars!!! :D

.

A few more pics that show the burl off a little better...

Foo, all I can say is you were darn lucky my Bushwacker Bluey was there or I would have hogged that one up for sure! ;) :p It was a close call.

That space right above yours was where mine was. :D But yours IS too pretty to use and beautiful is an understatement! I'm sure you'll enjoy that work of art because it sure felt good in the hand!

This is the closest thing to a twin of yours out there that I know of. They were the only two BWM LE variants for Friday and Saturday. I think I remember the third one being a CG variant. I don't know if there were any more on Sunday or not. The 21 oz weight sounds about right since yours is missing a lot more metal. Mine was a little over 23 as you can see here and is still 23.20 with the handles smoothed.
