When my notebook gets fixed, I'll get you some PH, Axe, BM comparison pics. I personally like the PH. It is very handy, it might benefit from some extra blade weight for chopping, but I have bigger blades for that.

Have you tried using the Busse Custom Shop Axes? The look like they would be great. Thanks for the pictures. Those big axes are sweet pieces

I have used the one without the hook. I have to admit that it is impressive. The edge is more of a zero edge design, so I just strop it a little after using it and she shaves hair again.
