We have all read, seen pics, heard gruesome stories about getting bit, cut or kissed with our Busse knives....................but i cant find the threads about the people who are careful and responsible:D, the ones who respect the power of steel......................

................or.............am i the only one here that has not cut themselves with their Busse knives yet????

i am ready though.........................................

I've cut myself on a HOGFSH, a CG FBM and on one of my AK's. Hmm, it's only the big ones that bite me :p

Most of my blades have managed to bite at least once. I thinks its their way of saying "Hey man, Glad to meet ya!" Only my FBMLE wanted to get inappropriately affectionate but what can you expect from a mistress?

You are unscathed because you're not drinking enough while handling knives! Slacker :D

i've only hurt myself once with a Busse, and twice total that required more than a little bandaid.

I got a nasty bite from a box cutter last year but nothing serious from INFI!

When I modded my FFBM I removed the handles, and screwed it to a 2x4 which kept it firmly in place and the blade away from my hands.

Worked like a charm!

Never received more than a nibble that was fixed with a tiny band-aid.

I had a CG BATAC bite me when removing from cardbaord sheath.

Never will I hold the edge of a cardboard sheath again without knowing that I am holding the edge next to the spine.

and

drinking this last weekend and palying with my HH without a lanyard.

It came out of my hand while choppig a little fat lighter knot. It then did a whirling flight between my legs:eek: stuck in my calf just a little and did another 360 leaving a weird spin scab in my right calf as it bounced into my left ankle.

WHEW! that could have turned out way different. Went back and grabbed another shot of the Fiddich:thumbup:

Most recent tooth mark is from my Spyderco Delica...little sucker is sharp! (I was opening a liquid morphine bottle at work and it got me when I closed it one-handed.) But my Busses haven't bit me yet. ;) Maybe 'cause I rarely handle them when distracted...:)

I'd had a few Scotches this past weekend and decided to save him some money with the doctor and offered to circumcise his newborn son with my battle mistress...

I just don't get bit by knives, I am always too carefu...damn I should clean that up with HO, oh hell I dripped on the carpet...later.

Good thing you already had the morphine, that was quick thinking:D

It is only a matter of time.....

keep the band aids on you cause you my friend just jinxed yourself!

Heehee... not the first time, and it won't be the last! ;)

If the damn INFI would just get DULL like all the other knives... it would be just fine and I would have no INFI-scars. But... NO! INFI refuses to lose it's edge.

I've cut myself a good bit as a meatcutter, once on the saw. And one of my worse(other than saw) was playing with a cheap azz Berretta Folder.

Never with INFI...yet. I'm much more carefull than I used to be. I still play with folders a good bit, so I'm sure I'll have a few more.
