The Busse BLOCK Lock Is The Strongest Folding Knife Lock Mechanism In The World ! ! ! . . . Check It Out ! ! !

That picture shows twelve 45lbs plates, correct? Well, 12×45=540lbs, so the rack weighs 720lbs???? I'm not trying to be an a-hole, just curious... If I'm missing something, apologies in advance.

I’m puzzled by this as well. Unless it was 540kg. Which is 1190lbs and the rack weighs 70lbs?

Also. Did no one mention the triad lock? One test withstood ~1500lbs and the atlas lock ~1800.

The original Cold steel 4max weighs a little less than 10 onces (9,2oz) and could take a little over 800lbs without breaking. I think it could take more weight, but Andrew Demko probably run out of plates, cant remember.

Andrew Demko didn't run out of plates! He run out of space to put more plates! The 9,2oz 4Max took 808lbs with ease! Busse folder lock sure is great and super strong, but also is tri-ad lock, who also passed the test of time.

My back and arms can confirm they are 100 LBS plates, and the rack is 60 LBS!

I hate the 100's. quick story, Gym I use to go to,, a guy that would come in the evening would use the 100s on the leg press machine and then leave them on there. The next morning all the women would be pissed because they couldn't take the weights off. I found out what this guy was doing that morning. Being an Ahole of course. He was the only one using the 100's. So I took each hundred and put them face down at two opposite corners of the gym. The next day they were on the leg press machine again. I repeated my action for about 6 days, and I finally got word back that he got the message.

I used to do leg press with 680kgs (~1500lb) in a conventional gym. And they only had 20kgs (45lb) and 15kg (33lb) plates. All the supports where full of plates and I had to add some more plates in a delicate balance on top of the structure (I'm sorry, I'm not English native speaker). Just load the weights and unload them was a cardio workout!😅 Those 45kgs (100lb) ones would be very welcome there!

I distinctly remember watching an old Cold Steel video with weights being added until the ran out of real weights and then used some random items until they just quite because it was getting absurd. Pretty sure that was just the good old Tri-Ad lock because I don't think the Atlas was a thing yet.

Not that I'm taking away from what was accomplished here, I just very much remember thinking well why not redo the weights with more room or whatever to see what it could really do???
