I’m going to be moving back, to NC in a few years. Surry County. I will have been away for more than 40 years. But I still have the property I grew up on.

We were supposed to get something like 12" here, as of the end of our last storm, last weekend.
Then mid-week, it was supposed to be 6-8 inches.
Thursday, it was down to 3-4 inches.
Today it is a dusting to 1 inch.
I'm disappointed. As long as it isn't ice, I like winter precipitation.
 
Now im awake and I swear if my wife holds the door open 1 more time to watch the dogs play.....im putting her outside for the day!
She opens the door lets dogs in and out and watches them. The shuts the door and asked why its cold in here!
I knew i shoulda moved to St.John USVI when I had the chance!
I dont like the cold or snow!

I hear ya man, i love snow - i like to see about 2 feet of it but, thats very rare now a days
I just hate ice and super cold temps

Hehehe like rollin down the window in car whens its freezing cold - put some glass in that polar bears ass!! 😎 😆
 
So the wife realized she had nothing in the house to eat...that she wanted. I asked her Friday while I was at the grocery store if she needed anything else besides whats on the list.....nope!
Well....off to the store i go! Get there and no wallet! Awsome! So back to the house then back to the store! My mile long driveway...lol

That's a nice amount of snow.
We got nuthin'. Zero, zip, nada, zilch.
Wind. It was 15 this morning, with a -4 degF wind chill.

Yeah, Arizona looks great until it hits 127 degrees in the summertime!
I personally would rather have sub-zero temps.

The whole ‘feels like’ temperature turns me into an old man yelling at clouds. Who decides what it feels like? It doesn’t feel like that to me. Why don’t you just tell us the actual temperature, and then everybody knows what that feels like?? What is the point!?

I need another drink…

Its the wind my friend.... the wind
And its real - no need for another drink, its quite simple 😉
The difference between 0° with no wind and the with say a 15 mph wind is quite astonishing
It would feel like -25° ( there is a converter)
I always go by the wind chill
Ive learned to hate the wind actually 😆
It freezes pipes, makes it x10 harder to heat the house and of course make it a helluva lot colder when out in it.
The wind chill temperature is the actual temperature 🌡

Dear god its definitely a Monday!
Woke up to the wife screaming! 2 dogs were fighting, but not bad. The problem was other dogs wanted to join in! Well one grabbed my wife's thigh and it looked like a shark bite! I had to send her to the ER! So she wont be traveling for work this week!.
It wasnt my pitty or a shepherd! It was some random mutt we got him and his sister as puppies!
