The Busse Combat Cubera. . . .

Truer words have never been spoken Brother John!

If I had the money I would buy the Cubera and it would be among friends in desert of West Texas. The knife could fulfill it's destiny and be shown tough love like it's non folding brethren.

Also by the way, if that knife was mine it would look as ugly and used as my CGNO.

OMG! The only thing uglier than that folder prototype is a 1911 with Hogue grips! Someone, please make it go away:eek::eek::eek:

;)

First of all you are correct, those Hogue grips are ugly. They are put away somewhere else and my 1911 wears Busse Micarta Grips now, as God intended.:D

Secondly, I want that folder! Although I would like it to see production so we can get it with options, I would happily take the one on Ebay. :)

And finally a firearm designed by John Moses Browning and a knife from Jerry Busse is a combo that can't be beat.:thumbup:

So :p:p

we just need the Killa Z's to live past the prototype stage, and maybe cost around the $400-$500 mark....

It really is a shame.

In a way I feel violated by the sale on ebay. It takes the mistique out of the ellusive Busse folder. I have no real intrest in the folder as I freaking LOVE Busse fixed blades and don't see what a folder can do that an AD can't do, but all the talk and hints about a top secret blade are just part of the fun here.

If any one knife maker listens to there customers it is hands down Jerry Busse, we said no choil and he listened, we said we want butt options and he listened, heavy swedge, no swedge... We are getting what we want. If we say we want a folder I believe he is listening, bottom line we love his knives and I am sure he loves his customers.

A rule I have always lived by - Good things come to those who wait.

Thank you Jerry and Team Busse!! You guys rock

I couldn't agree more... I've been waiting to see the elusive folder for a loooong time now. Ruined by someone posting it on Ebay. Not how I wanted it to happen.

I can say that I really like the design, and the grinds look perfect!

The thumb hole looks like it would fit something familiar, but I can't place it???

I cant believe that thing is 910 dollars. Does it come with a kilo of coke or something?

My heart was all a patter over that one. I can't believe that some knuckle head, who was some how lucky enough to get his hands on more than one prototype would sell it, or any of them. How does some one who is obviously not to be trusted earn enough trust from the big man to get their grubby mits on them.

On a side note, I really am glad I don't have a spare grand or two right now, because temptation is a very real thing. It is easy to have my morals and be all indignant about it because I could not afford it.

Sorry this is happening Boss.

I hope it looks better than that when it passes prototype stage . No way i`d pay $900+ for a knife that ugly .

A Glock and a Busse for me. Not better than Mr. Browning's design, but equal to. Covering my head and ducking

Jerry,

You want us to win this thing then mail it in to you??

No thanks man. I do appreciate the offer though. That is the only reason that I posted that there are more Cuberas coming from Captain Integrity. I was afraid that a well-meaning HOG would buy it, thinking that it was a one of a kind, and try to give it back to us.

Now think about that for a minute!. . . My biggest concern with this whole debacle, was that one of you HOGs would buy it and try to give it back!!!. . . If that doesn't define the type of community, friends, and family, that we have in this community of INFI HOGs, then I don't know what does!!!

The most unfortunate part of this situation is that this squatchHOG, Captain Integrity, never became part of this community. For him, it was just about the knives. Nothin' wrong with that, but there certainly is much, much more to be had, and for this guy, much more to have been learned from hanging out here amongst so many honorable HOGs.

I raise my glass to all of you!!! :D

Let's Drink!!!!

Jerry :D
