The Busse Combat Folder Has Become A Reality . . . And It Only Took 30 Years!!! . . . It Is Coming Friday, September 19, 2025 At 9:00 PM Eastern!!!

I had to sit out quite a bit of their stuff that I really wanted as well. There were just few models that I promised myself I'd get... Why they all had to be released in the same year I don't know. Whatever happens to the economy, we know the shop is going to be drinking fancy bourbon for a while hehe.

I called the shop to follow about my axe order, and actually complained about them dropping everyone at the same time...

They told me a lot of people are saying that...Than I said, I kid you not, that at least folder is "2 weeks away" and I don't mind if they keep it that way....and the tone on the other line changed a bit....less then an hour after that conversation this thread is posted!

Do us a favor and work your magic on a short pork sword reissue

I went back for seconds, and they were all gone.
Maybe thgey'll be back with a regular production run in another 20 years or so.

Iwent back and saw they were still available and put one in my cart, but didn't pull the trigger until a couple minutes ago. It was long after the offer officially ended, But Busse sent me an email inviting me to complete my purchase, so I did.

I guess I'll put those Viking axes in my cart and then thing about it for a few more days.

Will the handle be sandblasted, orangepeeled, machined with scalloping or crosshatching, etc. -- or other finish?

I've found the rough sandblast like on factory fresh Sebenzas to be nice on plain Ti slabs. Looks good when it gets marked up. Plus decent grip if there's not gonna be any other kind of macro-textruing options.

I've always wished my sebenza 21 or 31 had micarta inserts. Hopefully Jerry will make a model with those!

Yup, those are nice.

But it looks like Busse's really pushing the envelope of thin handles with this model and I don't know how deeply they could machine insets without compromising the strength.
