The Busse Custom Shop Is Proud To Announce The Return Of The Legendary MOAB!!! . . . Coming Sunday 4-30-2023 At 9:00PM Eastern!

No way they’re making as many of these as some of the other recent models IMO. I’m betting the order quota was much lower. Only Busse knows…

I do not think that several hundreds of MOABs were sold this week soooo quickly- the price is just to exclusive. Anyway- good for those who scored, since MOABs will stay rare at the aftermarket.

Excellent points. Wouldn't want to dilute the rarity of it by making too many. But now that makes me wonder about this incoming SYKCO model, is it a large chopper too which will satisfy those who wanted a MOAB but missed out? Did Dan scrap it?

Either way, the amount of new models coming out so fast and furious is incredible.

I used to wonder if I had missed the "Golden Era" of Busse having only officially jumped aboard about a year ago, but it's quite obvious we're still very much in it. 🍻

Congrats! Black on black looks mean! Looking forward to seeing a pic of that!

Self-control? Never heard of her.

All good! I often have to scroll to the top to check the thread I'm commenting in sometimes to be sure I'm not confusing it with another as well.

With so many recent popular threads all going on at the same time (Choppasaurus, Regulator 12, MOAB, upcoming Scrapyard release, etc) it's bound to happen.

I bet you're right on the SR-101 though with the Regulator 12 prototype being the last gasp for that steel.

But you triggered an interesting thought with the accidental confusion......

Why the re-release of the MOAB? (just a curious question, certainly not a complaint! I couldn't be happier about it!) Just to please the masses or has Jerry further developed his HT on 3V to make it surpass INFI where he's letting INFI go out with a bang?

I'm leaning towards the latter not being the case, but still, you inadvertently got me curious!

Been a while since we used the MOAB pattern. Just finsihed it up today. What a wonderful beast.
The satin knife is still availble for purchase on the Busse site, get one while you can.

We are proud to announce the return of the legendary Busse MOAB!

This is the Mother Of All Bowies.

The MOAB was designed for those who hunt mice with a 50BMG!!!

You can fat shame this monster to your heart's content and there won't be any hurt feelings to deal with.

She's big, fat, and proud of every ounce she weighs.

The stories of the MOAB from over 17 years of use in the field have become the stuff of legends.

The sheath alone takes nearly two full cows worth of leather to make!

Heavy farm or construction equipment is required to haul this beast to your campsite.

The MOAB weighs in at just a bit under ten tons and if you turn your back on her at any time, she will eat you out of house and home.

The incomparable chopping power of the MOAB is accompanied by hernias, torn muscles, and multiple back braces required to help you heal from "Heavy Use".

"Heavy Use" is defined as simply pulling it out of its sheath!

Good luck to all who go for the bacon on this one!

Let's Drink!

Jerry
