  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

The "Buy a Sebenza" Thread...

I'm new to CRK's I have the small Sebenza 21 and love it. I use it every day at work, but I really need to lube the thing. It's taking forever for the grease to show up in the mail. I have no professional knife or gun shops here in Bakersfield. Anyone use a different lube? And the next knife on the list is the large sebenza......

I did one of mine with Militec-1 (very good stuff & there are other good lubes too) while waiting for my CRK grease. It functioned beautifully. Man it got dirty breaking in and not being cleaned for months too. It was like night and day after I cleaned it.

You won't hurt it, just use your grease when you get it and make do with a quality lube if it must be cleaned. And no I don't advocate motor oil and other weird stuff like you'll read in General or Maintenance section. YMMV though. :)

Micarta was a sleeper for me. I'd figured it was neither fish nor fowl. That was right as far as it went, but as a pure user, I'd peg the micarta inlay Sebs (I have one each large and small) as my favorite.
