I recently bought this hammer and it seems to be in perfect order...no cracks, welds, loose sleeves, etc. Question is this..it has a triple belt sheave 10" in diameter and no motor. I have a 1750 2 hrspw motor. What size sheave diameter would be correct? Anyone else have a Canadian Giant? Seems to be a pretty close copy of the Little Giant. What is best way to install guard in front of spring...just in case?!!! Thanks in advance

Well, you might want to try Sid at littlegianthammer.com he may be able to help.

Aside from that, if you can hazard a guess as to how many RPM you want on the drive pulley, I wrote up an explaination of figuring out pulley ratios, etc at the end of this thread at another forum.

Hope that help!
