I got local hardwood supplier near me in Sycamore, Il. I stopped in on Fri and purchased some ebony, wenge, and some figured walnut and thought I would post some pics of their shop. I suggest you make the trip if your close by. They have all kinds of options. some sizes not optimal for knifemaking unless you have a bandsaw. The name is "Hardwood Connection"

Well thanks to this post I have now discovered that there is Woodcraft store near me, no more buying off eBay.
