Did the blades of your Trappers start out as mirror-polished steel? I am trying to get my Trapper to look like Sonnemann's does. Patina on a yellow handled knife just looks so classic
All my new carbon bladed knives started off nice and shiny. My cv 6375 did too. That's the beauty, and magic, of cv and carbon blades in general. They start as a blank slate. They have a soul. And you can see the life they, and their owners, have lived in the blades patina. You can see where they've been, and what they've done. You can feel the life in them when you hold them.
