Ha! ...This ain't old enough to be considered "necro-posting" yet... A classic example of necro-posting is more like when someone pulls up a 5-1/2 old FS thread with all knives sold on the X and says "I'll take it". :rolleyes::D (Yes, this happened today)

Well, why don't you give a sticky on what makes "necro" threads "necro" .... and what makes the distinction of two moth old threads still "current" and of interest ....

Sorry, man... I was just playing around. I think that the reason for this post's re-animation is that currently there are no knives of various sizes being offered as this thread was created to announce and Paulde revived this thread to ask what happened instead of starting a new one. Being as this is a Busse company related thread, and I am not employed by Busse, this thread is better handled by someone who does, i.e. Jerry, Amy or Garth. Granted that the last post prior was around the BLADE Show, it has still been quiet for less than 4 months. :)

your posts are generally awesome - but I'm pretty sure it's you (this time)... quit yer whining. :D

this isn't even that old, and I imagine many folks are interested in the status of this as it was a pretty big deal when announced.

The purpose of Jerrys original post was to say different sizes of different knives will be offered by Busse on the web site .... this then became a free for all for everyone saying "Folder" "Muk" to whatever they want to see made next .... whereas it was clearly a simple statement of multiple offerings on the web site .... there are enough threads already insisting on different blades .... resurrecting old ones that were hi-jacked to give these messages on top of what already exist as "death chats" is just a PITA .... bear in mind some of us have accepted the fact that a Folder is not going to be done as it would have been done a long time ago if it were .... those that have been done and the fact no more were done should make this pretty clear ....

Now on the Forum all we seem to have is threads basically asking for things which after years of asking have not happened .... you know if you ask for a Folder for 10 years and don't get one ....what does that tell you ??? how interesting are such threads for the next 10 years ????.... or how about thinking it might make some sense to take the hint .... ?????
 
I wouldn't say never about the folder. There could be a bug or two yet to be worked out or it could be one more design in Jerry's portfolio that he'll release when he feels it is appropriate. The Tank Buster was, according to "The Busse Museum", first shown publicly at Blade 2003 and finally released earlier this year. A mere 7 year delay. The ways of the Boss Hog are most mysterious. Have a little faith, man.
