And finally an interesting pair, a near mint Syracuse, and an old Rodgers that I carried for years, with horn handles (appropriate for a cattle knife, don't you think?).

Thought I'd toss these in for the edification of you newer collectors out there. Jim Parker marketed these, somewhat over-exuberantly as made in the 50s-60s (hmmmmmm!). They were selling up over $100 for a while (hmmm again!), but they make a good $50 carbon steel user. Nicely made for that price, actually.
