*** The Changbenza Controversy ***

storyville.......lmfao! very good one! BUT comrade chang did invent the changbenza .....hence the name. he deserves all the credit
tongue.gif
i have an original changbenza and will cherish it always! so please give credit where credit is due, bastid.

chang, i would be very interested in the wood fiber changsliver! a collaboration
biggrin.gif
it should easily take the best collab award at next years blade show!

AAAArrrrggggghhh! %$$#*@()(* email isn't working again....

Chang, howz about a cellulose/tin combination, much like traditional Samurai swords. A cellulose inner core for flexibility, and a thin metallic "foil" outer covering for...more flexibility. I realize this will probably increase production costs by as much as 20%, but you get what you pay for...

I'll get some $CSA your way asap

OK, TomF, wrap up 7 dollars inside a piece of paper and mail it to me. Cash only please.

Make sure you can't see through the envelope, because that would really suck if the USPS guys stole the money.

Tim Changman Knives Inc.
Post Office Box 2073
Champaign, Illinois 61825-2073

Make sure there is a return address, so I can mail the knife there. Expect it to arrive a week after I get the payment. Thanks. And Tim, I'll pay you royalties after I sell a whole bunch and get enough money to make it worth the 33-cent stamp it takes to mail you a share of the profits.

Comrade, all (or at least most) kidding aside, what knife (knives) are you saving for? (like to know what cause I'm supporting

)

Tom

Probably a SOCOM Elite. Depends how much money I raise with the Changbenza project. I realized that with my small collection, I needed more knives. I currently have a BM910BT, MT UDT, two CRKT KISS's, and a Victorinox Pocket Pal. Either that or I'll get a Leatherman WAVE, because I need something to carry at school and knives aren't allowed, though multi-tools generally present no problems.

The original author, Mr. Gilmore, apologizes to Mr. Comrade Chang for any errors in attribution of authorship of the Changbenza. (The fact-checking dept. at "Martha Stewart Living" denies any responsibility.)

Due to the confusion over authorship, as many of you no doubt noticed, CBS pulled the actual combat footage of the closing moments of "Survivor," and replaced it with a hastily-assembled "vote" to determine it winner.

Mr. Gilmore does stand by the fact that Mr. Herman carries a Sebenza, however. The former chief engineer of Firestone Tires, Inc., Mr. Herman was quoted six months ago in the New York Times as saying, "Nothing gives me a greater sense of security than my Sebenza and my Firestones!"

Please refer all further inquiries to the editors of "A Boy’s Life."

Hey Copfish,

Is there a difference between Talonite and Saranwrap?
smile.gif

Whether Chang's or Herman's, cardboard composite is THE material of the future. No matter what Cliff Stamp says.

Comrade Chang,

i feel its only fair that i should get the ChangSliver prototype for approval of construction and general appearance, before it goes on the market
biggrin.gif

Well Herman, that would be cool, but all I'm doing is cutting my wood-fiber board in the shape of your Sliver. It will look just like the Sliver, only browner. Of course the foil version will have the foil attached like the carbon fiber is on the blade on the Beretta Electra. Cool huh? Engraving is done with Sanford Sharpie Fine Point Permanent Marker. Tell me what ya' think.

What a hoot. I needed this today. Storyville, you need to go professional if you are not.

Chang, email me when you have time one of these days.
What a hoot.

Greg, the #1 first Changbenza/Sebenza by Changmade was lost somewhere in school! Now some janitor probably has it. How about a Changmade model 770 prototype for $6, shipping included?

This whole thread got me to thinking, could I laminate newsprint and there by create an even stronger product worthy of changbenza use? Im headed out to the shop to furthur explore this thought. More in the future to come.

Actually, I created CL2, a laminated cellulose-lignin compound with Elmer's Glue All holding the layers of index card together. I found it to be an unworthy material. Tell me if you find anything out.

TomF, I got your $20 today. Your Changbenza and Herman/Chang collaboration will go out after Tim approves the Sliver for production. I'm currently working on a prototype for him to approve. Expect it to go out in 2 weeks or less. Thanks!

Kewl! The CIFU also sounds interesting. You could start the SEKAT company (you figure it out) in addition to ChangMade...
