Good idea on the strap! I would have just gotten that but the whole thing was degraded and the plastic was sorta melting!

I got the new one in and it rocks! My 4th 3M 6900 I think.., has some lightweight pink particle filters that I really like, they cut the weight down tremendously and will be good for steel dust.


Everyone is asking for some higher end folders so I'm on it! I think I'm going to try some Damasteel for that bold contrast and Black Timascus is on the list.

Today we took the kids on the local train for a good time... the Great Pumpkin patch!

I hurt my wrist pretty bad this morning tightening my belt. wtf! lol getting old!

Evening guys.

Had an ok day at the match. Totally fired my spotter today too, but he was my ride home sooo, I made do. My spotter (father, lol) kept "forgetting" that I was shooting in match rifle class with iron sights, so he would not pay attention and not be able to give me accurate info of my shots, thinking I was shooting scoped and could see my own shots. I lost it on one string and just put 7 rounds into the burm :mad: That pretty much made my point to him. Of course, I was only 4 points out of first, sooo my temper probably cost me the match :p 3 hours of sleep probably didn't help matters either, lol!

Enjoying a Dr.Pepper and Sailor Jerry, keep it real homies.

Daniel, ditch the belt, get elastic waistband jeans man, or better yet, overalls.

IMWILSON that sounds cool! A waterjet is on the top of my shop list... have been looking at a few older ones.

Thanks Xander on that new chunky EDC! I took a while working out the lines on paper and it is super ergonomic. I'll get some pics up here of it, I'm working on it today.
 
Hey Daniel, I running an OMAX. It's only about 8 months old. I looked at one online that was 5 years old, looked basically the same. The software is a big plus on these things. You can draw some wild shapes with it, but I haven't got that far yet.

Kevin, the body aches are gone but I'm going on 3 days with an severely upset stomach...

Working on trying to get to another long range match in Reno in a couple weeks, but doesn't look like I can get the day off yet. Not really excited about going over the pass after required chain control starts 11/1 though. Found some matches a little closer to home I might go to as well.

Rolf, I'm surprised that you are in support of Tanto Thursdays, that's extremely limiting. Just like Taco Tuesdays, it should be acceptable to enjoy tantos and tacos any day of the week!
