Evening y'all. Been down with the sickness last few days. Worst part is not staying home to rest, still gotta work through it.

Plus side is I just got about 3 emails with tracking numbers today.... parts for new toys coming!!!


Ugh, back to my cave now. This is enough daylight for today.

Hey Wilson Wind and rain today....I guess I get to see how well my new jacket works. I hope I catch a tail wind on my way to work, hear it is going to be 40mph winds.

Man, I'm beat. Left work early today I've been feeling so rough. I'll live through this one, just takes time to get back to 100%.

Should have my new upper receiver by Saturday, new barrel and other bits middle of next week! Gonna be exciting!

Hey guys! Late evening in the shop and I just got cleaned up. Things are going well... I burnt the living shit out of my index finger knuckle on the fireplace so that's interesting but luckily not really hurting... I think my dip bucket isn't helping it though. :D lmao I have a RF2 and 3 fixed blades looking good, the RF2 is fully functional and ground so it is close!

I finally got a Gopro and it totally rules! Nice quality right off the bat... I need to to adjust a few things and it's back on with the videos and more shop footage in general. :cool: I'm very excited!

I hope you feel better X! I got sick both times I traveled this month and am just now feeling normal again so I do understand! Cool more supplies are on the way though!

Hi Rolf!


My folder is coming along nicely! I only have finishing left... deciding on ano and the likes.
 
^ I smoke a few cigars a year but that's about it on the tobacco... I'm more of a cigar collector, lol. I tend my two humidors regularly and have way too many cigars.


The folder is NICE!!!! I need to do a couple of minor things to finish it but it's assembled and crazy smooth. Once the lock is released it easily shuts under the weight of the blade. Honestly I wasn't all that convinced on the bearing thing before but I am now, this is a new level of smoothness.

Pics tomorrow, I'm worn out!
 
My cat woke me up by sneezing on my face... I got up and the other cat tripped me, I stepped in his water bowl and have now made coffee! lmao!!!!

I'm too excited about this folder! :cool: more coffee...

I'm still not taking orders but always want to hear requests. I base a lot of my plans on what you guys would like to see made.

If things go right i'm going mostly to folders... I've been trying to work that out and think things will be falling in line nicely.


Cats! The GoPro has pretty good sound quality. You have to open up the back housing or swap it out with one that comes with the camera in order for the mic to work well but that makes sense with it being waterproof and all.

I'm getting a chest mount rig, in the RF2 video I'm actually holding the knife right in front of my face at eye level... lmao it was tough and looks awkward in the footage. That was take 24 by the way... The wide angle is awesome but I'm not used o it yet.
 
Daniel- Do you have a water knife design?
Will that Yellow stuff I sent work for a handle material?

D, I can borrow Go Pro's from work...I will have to give one a try soon. BTW, the sound seemed fine on your RF2 vid.....and the action of the knife is butter!

OT- I just got a Banjo Neal Mud Snapper folder. For $12. bux... WOW!!! It's really a badazz folder.
