  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

The chatroom...

The chatroom has been migrated, but due to the DNS changing (which was kinda unexpected) it will take awhile to trickle down to the local level for a lot of people. Sometimes you can flush your DNS cache and that will speed it along a bit.

what is a DNS cache? And where do I find the flush lever? is it on the left side like any standard toilet?

Gawd I am so out of my realm when it comes to tech stuff

I can't get in. Damn. And Derek is in there giving stuff away as prizes.

it made me re-register. Wouldn't let me in with Chameleonbear but it also wouldn't let me re-register it. Dunno... I signed up as C-Bear now though.

Looks like there are still issues as at home I was able to access it no problem but here at work I can only access the old one. Going to delete everything off the old server and let it rip I suppose. Anyways, don't reregister stuff people, it will work eventually. If it blanks out after you enter in your password, just hit the forgot password thing and go through that.

Alright, got mine to working here, but had to change my DNS servers to do it, both IPv4 & IPv6, and then it started kicking along nicely. Using google public dns if that matters to anyone.

Problem is if you are connecting through corporate networks, it's the company's dns servers that need to refresh, locally requesting a /flushdns and /registerdns only updates the local machine - if that's the case, you just have to suck it up and wait till the servers update.
