The Cheburkov Channel--Picture & Discussion Thread

It's been quiet over here--no thanks to me for not posting either--so here's my Dama nudist Scout. I had a few extra pics after posting through Imgur at the EDC thread in the wake of the "Too Many Attachments" fiasco. I'm sure Spark will figure out something for us, but in the meantime we still have all our knives--it's just a bit harder to show them off. 😏

Another sterling example of the WTFWITA selling I've regrettably done. 🥺

We've all had those, my friend, so you're definitely not alone in that. I'd feel somewhat guilty about having this one if there hadn't been another owner between us who'd reached out by PM and offered it to me. I feel really lucky to have it and FWIW will try never to make that mistake with this one.

Truly one of my all time favorites to grace my mitts. Somehow "organic" in it's nature, personality if you will. Just exquisite.

That's an interesting descriptor for something metallic and made in a workshop, Officer's Match Officer's Match , but I kinda get it--more of a creature than a creation. I'm not one for a lot bling, but the Dama Scout has a really interesting balance between the simple and the ornate. Anyway, I got a bunch of pics today for the EDC thread when I went the same only different with the Pyramid Scout which was the first of my now more than a few Chebs.

I've put a lot of Scout pics on this page, and today I had a bunch of extras of my Pyramid version so I'll put some of those here FWIW. There's more not that far up the page, but they were posted some time back in March.

I love the blade shape and grind on this one, from its generously upturned belly to the subtly rounded transition from the high flat grind to the narrow flat along the spine.

Love this design. I've been meaning to try to track down a full size Strizh but so many things to distract...
I really like the Strizh design too. Very simple, yet hits most all the right spots for me. The full size is 3.75" on the blade by the way in case you were looking for that info. I just had to go to like 5 websites to figure it out. Mines a small, so it has the 3.3" blade which is perfect for me. Yea I definitely recommend them, they make great knives.

My small CF is very nice, and the m390 is done well. I love the front flipper design, very subtle.

I want a CF Scout now.

Yeah the front flipper is very subtle, I agree and like it a lot too. I do need to open mine up though and give it my normal cleaning and add new lube, as my front flipper isn't quite as easy to use as I'd like so far. Cheburkov is a silent killer though that not too many people are really aware of it seems.

Yeah the Scout is another cool model.
