Yes Shing, the ones who own the companies, frost, united, in particular, are just as guilty. That's why I stay away from the junk they import. There is a market for it though. Many cannot either afford a decent knife, or they would rather spend less money. Its understandable in many cases, but with all that said, stealing someone's design, is stealing, and most of those knives, are still junk.

If some of these knives were better made, their own designs, than they would deserve some respect.

Cheapies are the most economical viable to export. There is a limited market for expensive knives. Look at ER - they are having serious problems with their American operation, and their knives are too expensive for their preformance.
